The Christian Internet Ministry is pleased to provide a Christian
advice and counseling service to all who are in need. The service is obviously
limited in its scope since the only communication between the ministry
and people requesting assistance is via E-mail. Therefore, our service
should not be construed in any way to be a substitute for direct professional
counseling. Should you, or someone you know be confronted with an emergency
situation requiring immediate action in order to prevent physical, mental,
or emotional injury to an individual or group of people, contact competent
professional assistance. Violations of local, state, or federal laws should
be reported to the appropriate law enforcement body in your area. Remember,
we ARE our brother's keeper! We are ALL God's children! Should we observe
anyone being subjected to possible harm, it is our duty to take appropriate
action.

HOW ADVICE AND COUNSELING WORKS
Should you wish to avail yourself of this service, fill out the Request
for Advice and Counseling form, giving your name, address and E-mail address,
in addition to the details regarding your specific request. (The form can
be accessed above.) Complete name and address is necessary in order to
consider a request and is essential should a follow up by E-mail or other
method be required. All name and address information will be kept confidential
and will not be shared with any outside individual or organization.
Unfortunately, due to the heavy volume of requests we receive for
this service, we are unable to answer each request. There is usually several
weeks delay before we are able to respond to those requests which we are
able to answer due to a backlog. In most cases, we respond privately to
requests which are accepted. However, unless instructed otherwise, we will
post acceptable requests we believe might be beneficial to others. Requests
which are posted on our Advice and Counseling web pages are first edited,
which includes using only first names, city and state (within the U.S.),
or first names, city and country (outside of the U.S.). If you do not wish
your request to be considered for posting, please note this in your request.
If you prefer initials to be used instead of first names, please mention
this in your request.
Initially, requests will be posted to both the current list of requests
and the requests archive. Requests will reside on the current list for
14-days from the date of posting. After that, they will only reside in
the archive. Requests will reside in the archive for one year from the
date of posting.
As always, we encourage people who request advice to notify us via
E-mail of the outcome of their situation so that we may share it with caring
visitors. Please include the "Request Number" shown on the posted request
in order that we may match it with the original request.
This service is provided free of charge, out of God's love for His
children. There is no obligation associated with the service. |
